As a professional DJs and VJs we travel extensively, and are looking for way
of saving space and being creative on the move then we came accross dss dj
from myxoft.com Of all the dj software this has the look and feel of a
professional setup. running on windows me it is easy to install and worked
straight away. No need for expensive sound cards and will even mix two
different tracks from the same cd simultaneously.... try and do that on
you pioneers. In order to mix properly you really need to have a way of
monitoring the next track on your headphones and select your cue point.
Simalar dj mixing software require you to buy expensive multi channel
soundcards. Dss Dj is great. You can can access this function by running
two pci soundcards. For head phones previewing, the second card doesn't
need to be expensive. My setup is a gigabyte motherboard. i am running
the headphones from the in built sound card on the mother board and the
main output is running from a soundblaster live drive pci card. the result
are very nice. i have not had to buy anything else.. perfect! Most functions
have a keyboard shortcut which gives you a more hands on control compared to
just using the mouse and you can layer the functions for greater creativity...
nice The main drawback is there is no shortcut for for the left and right
volume controls. this makes life tricky if you are used to mixing in this way.
Also you cannot adjut the crossfasder curve useful for scratching etc it would
be really cute if you could pre program the playlists and how you want the mix
and as i have an eridol midi keyboard. It would be really cool if i could
assign the functions to midi controllers, for more conrol, even more creativity.

I'm very interested in becoming a reseller for your products. I've been
DJing for over 16 years currently run 2 websites where I could sell the software,
or at least let people download trial versions.
I also would want to have tutorials for each to show people the main features and
how to use them. I think the product is AWESOME! I was VERY IMPRESSED by the DSS DJ 4.
I'm excited about promoting and selling your innovative software, and think
that not only beginning DJs, but even experienced DJs could greatly benefit
from using your software as opposed to actual turntables.

Congratulations on a fantastic piece of DJ software; MyXoft! Have just downloaded it and started to use it; within 5 minutes I am amazed at it's functionality - which when like me you are starting out in the DJ world is really important! To find that the product is Romanian was just the "icing on the cake" as we say here in England!
Romania may be having to wait for it's membership of the European Union but all I can say is "EU watch out!!"... one of the most innovative country's on planet earth is about to show us a thing or two!

I just recently purchased a copy of DSS 4 (7/17/2003) and was wondering if
there was some special pricing for upgrading to DSS 5. I am an armchair
musician and DJ and love the elegant simplicity and rich feature set of DSS.
TRAKTOR basic is too basic and to do anything even close to DSS you have to
buy the top of the line version of PCDJ not to mention that it is impossible
to get off their mailing list.

I have tried several different personal computer DJ mixer programs and for
the money the Discotheque Sound System is unbeatable! Talk about total
convenience! There are so many awesome features-I can't believe it doesn't
cost more money! The ability to load preset play lists, control the fade
times and stereo equalization are some highly impressive aspects-as well as
the extras like sound effects (it saved me from purchasing a siren)and the
adjustable talk-over volume. I have only been using a pc for DJ applications
for a few months but it absolutely the best friend a DJ could ask for. The
clarity is phenomenal and seamless transitions from player to player make it
so easy I almost feel guilty for taking clients money! A BIG thanks to the
engineers of DSS for making this incredible product!

first of all, a big "nice one" for your Discotheque Sound System.
i am the head-moderator of the german, onlinegaming-based
webradiostation radio4gamers (http://www.radio4gamers.de)
We are no company or somethink like that, just some people
they like to do the radio-stuff ;)
So you can imagine, it is verry hard to find the right software
for the Broadcasters. We've tested different possibilitys from
2 instances of Winamp upto BPM-Studio. BPM is too expensive
and the other Solutions dont fit our needs.
