DSS DJ 5 works with:
- a simple stereo soundcard (including the one on your mainboard, if you have it). You can use only the master stereo output OR select Split mode checkbox in the Configuration panel and you will have: on left mono channel, the master signal (loudspeakers) and on right mono channel, the monitor signal (headphones).
- 2 different simple stereo soundcards. Set in Configuration panel: one soundcard (the better one) for master output (loudspeakers) and the other one for monitor output (headphones).
- multichannel soundcards. Select Multichannel soundcard checkbox in the Configuration panel and you will have: on front stereo channel, the master output (loudspeakers) and on rear stereo channel, the monitor output (headphones).

NOTE: The problem that you can meet with such soundcards are audio dropouts (skips, pops, clicks, etc). To eliminate them, increase latency (buffers number and size) in the Configuration panel.
